Roof Repair in Union City, Finished as Neatly as It Started
We find the real source of a leak, repair it with matched materials and careful hand nailing, and protect your home while we work. Your beds and driveway are covered, and the yard is swept with a magnet before we pack up.
When a Repair Is the Right Call
A roof repair fixes one specific failure without disturbing the rest of the roof. That might be a few torn shingles, a lifted flashing seam, a cracked pipe boot or a nail that has backed out and given water a path. When the decking is sound and the surrounding shingles still have years left, a repair is usually the sensible and economical choice.
We bring 30+ years of roofing experience to the part that matters most, which is finding where water actually enters. It is often several feet uphill from the stain on your ceiling. When the shingles around the leak are brittle and worn across the whole slope, we tell you that directly and lay out what a roof replacement would involve, so the two options sit side by side.
Small jobs get the same care as large ones. Tarps go down under the work area, ladders are padded where they meet the gutters, and every scrap of old shingle leaves with us.
What Our Roof Repair Work Includes
Leak tracing from attic to shingle
We look at the underside of the decking and the roof surface together. Water stains, rusted nail tips and damp insulation show us the path water took, so the repair lands on the cause.
Shingle replacement and matching
We break the seal on neighboring tabs carefully, slide new shingles in and hand-nail them to the manufacturer's pattern. We hold samples against your existing color and profile, and if your shingle line has been discontinued, you hear that before any work begins.
Flashing, pipe boots and vents
Step flashing along walls, chimney flashing and rubber pipe boots are the most common leak points we see. Boots crack after years of strong sun, and we replace them rather than smearing sealant over the split.
Valleys and ridge caps
A valley gathers runoff from two slopes at once, while ridge caps sit fully exposed to the wind. We rebuild worn sections of both so water moves off the roof as intended.
Protection and cleanup
Ground tarps cover beds and patios, and we keep debris off your lawn as we go. Before we leave, the gutters are cleared of grit and the yard and driveway are swept with a magnet for stray nails.

Signs Your Roof Needs a Repair
- A ceiling or wall stain
- A brown ring that grows after rain means water has made it all the way to the drywall. Catching it early limits how much wood and insulation above it get wet.
- Missing or creased shingles
- Spring wind in central Oklahoma can lift a shingle tab and crease it without tearing it off. A creased tab no longer seals and will let wind-driven rain underneath.
- Granules piling up in the gutters
- Some granule loss is normal on a new roof. Heavy drifts at the downspouts or dark, bare patches on the shingles mean the asphalt is exposed and wearing faster.
- Light or moisture in the attic
- Specks of sunlight showing near a vent pipe or chimney chase, or insulation that is damp to the touch, usually mean the trouble sits right above that spot.
- Cracked caulk or lifted flashing
- Sealant around a chimney or skylight that has shrunk away from the metal is a short-term patch giving out, and a proper flashing repair is due.
How a Repair Day Runs
- 1
Start with a phone call
Describe what you have spotted and roughly where it shows up, on the roof or the ceiling. We ask how old the roof is and whether it has been patched before, then arrange a visit.
- 2
On the roof and in the attic
We inspect the problem area and the roof around it, taking photos as we go. You see exactly what we found before anything is recommended.
- 3
A written estimate
We list the work line by line, including what happens if we find soft decking once shingles come off. Nothing is added without your say.
- 4
The repair itself
Tarps and padding go down first, the repair is done by hand, and the area is checked for proper overlap and nailing. Many repairs are completed in a single visit.
- 5
Cleanup and a final look
We sweep the yard, clear the gutters and walk you through the finished work with photos.
What Shapes the Cost of a Roof Repair
We don't use a price chart for repairs. Your estimate comes from what we actually see on the roof and in the attic, written out line by line after the visit. The factors below usually have the biggest effect on the total.
- How far the damage reaches
- A single cracked boot is a small job. A leak that has run for months may have softened decking that has to be cut out and replaced.
- Pitch, height and access
- Steep or two-story roofs need extra safety setup and take longer to work on carefully.
- Materials and matching
- Architectural shingles, metal flashing and specialty vents vary in cost, and discontinued shingles can take extra effort to match.
- What is underneath
- Multiple old layers or earlier patches done with roofing cement add removal time before the real repair can begin.
Roof Repair Questions
- Should I repair my roof or replace it?
- If the damage is limited and the rest of the roof is in good shape, a repair makes sense. If shingles are brittle and curling across several slopes, or you have had repeated leaks in different spots, replacement usually costs less over time. We show you photos and give you our honest view either way.
- Will the new shingles match the old ones?
- We get as close as the products on the market today allow. Shingles fade with sun, so even an identical product looks slightly brighter at first and blends in over the following months. If your style is no longer produced, we bring the closest current products up to your roof so you can compare them in person and choose.
- Does someone have to stay home while you work?
- Only if the leak shows up indoors and we need to get into the attic. The rest of the work happens outside, and we let you know when it is finished. Plenty of homeowners in Union City and nearby Yukon just leave a side gate unlocked for the crew.
- Is your repair work covered by a warranty?
- Yes. Our work carries a 10-year workmanship warranty, which covers how the repair was installed. We explain exactly what that includes before the job begins.
- What if the damage came from hail or wind?
- That may be an insurance matter. Our Storm Damage Repair page explains how we document damage with photos and walk you through the claim steps, while your adjuster makes the coverage decision.
