Gutters in Union City, Installed With Care for Your Home

We size, hang and pitch gutters so roof water lands where it should, well away from your foundation. Old gutters come down carefully, beds and walkways stay protected, and every scrap of metal and every screw leaves with us.

Gutters That Move Water Away From Your Home

A gutter has one job: catch the water coming off your roof and carry it somewhere harmless. When it sags, leaks at the joints or spills over the front, the runoff ends up in the worst places. It works in behind the trim board, streaks down the walls and settles into the soil right beside the slab. Over a few seasons that turns into rotted trim, stained brick and soil washing out from around the foundation.

Our crew has 30+ years of roofing experience, and we treat gutters as part of the roof edge rather than an add-on. Gutters and roofs tend to fail together. Before any run is measured, we check the drip edge, the fascia board and the roof pitch so the new system suits the roof that feeds it.

If your roof is also due, it often makes sense to pair new gutters with a roof replacement so the drip edge and gutters go up in one visit.

What Our Gutter Work Includes

Careful removal of old gutters
We take old runs down in sections instead of prying them off, so the fascia and shingle edges are not torn. Old aluminum, hangers and fasteners are hauled away the same day.
Fascia and drip edge check
Once the old gutter is off, we look at the wood behind it. Soft or rotted fascia is shown to you before anything is replaced, so you decide with the facts in front of you.
Continuous aluminum runs
We form gutters on site in long, single lengths cut to each eave, which removes most of the joints where leaks start. Joints remain only at corners and end caps, and those are sealed by hand.
Correct pitch and hanger spacing
Each run is set with a slight, steady fall toward the downspout so water does not sit and stain. Hidden hangers are spaced close enough to carry the weight of wet leaves and winter ice.
Downspouts and outlets placed with intent
We place downspouts where the water can actually go, with extensions or splash blocks carrying it away from the foundation, walkways and flower beds.
Daily cleanup
Nails, scraps and trimmings are picked up as we go, and the yard and driveway are swept with a magnet before we leave.

Signs Your Gutters Need Attention

  • Water spilling over the front

If a hard spring rain sends sheets of water over the gutter lip, the gutter may be undersized, clogged or pitched the wrong way.

  • Sagging or pulling away

A run that dips between hangers holds standing water and debris. Gaps behind the gutter usually mean the fasteners or the fascia have let go.

  • Drips at joints and corners

Rust streaks or drip lines on the siding point to failed joints. Sectional gutters with many seams are the usual culprit.

  • Peeling paint or soft fascia

Paint that blisters along the roof edge, or trim that feels spongy, means water has been getting behind the gutter for a while.

  • Washed-out soil or wet foundation

Trenches in the mulch, puddles that linger by the slab or damp spots inside near outside walls all suggest the water is landing too close to your home.

How Gutter Projects Are Priced

A gutter price is shaped mostly by the amount of metal going up and the shape of the wood behind the old system. Reaching the eaves safely matters too. We go over each factor on your own house and write the figures down before any work begins, so nothing is left to guess.

Linear footage and downspouts

The total length of the runs and the number of downspouts drive most of the material cost. Homes with many corners and short runs take more labor than one long, straight eave.

Height and access

Two-story eaves, steep slopes below the roof edge and tight side yards take more setup time and safety gear.

Fascia condition

Rotted fascia has to be replaced before new gutters can be fastened to it. We show you photos of what we find so the added work is clear.

Gutter size and options

Larger gutters and oversized downspouts handle heavy rain better on big roof planes. Guards and extensions add to the total, and we will tell you plainly whether your house needs them.

How a Gutter Day Runs

  1. 1

    Look and measure

We walk the roof edge, check the fascia and measure every run and drop. We talk through gutter size, downspout locations and color so you know what the finished house will look like.

  2. 2

    Protect the property

Before anything comes down, we cover beds near the eaves, set ladders on pads to keep them off soft lawn and keep the driveway clear for you.

  3. 3

    Remove, repair and hang

Old gutters come off in sections. Any fascia repairs you approved are made, then the new runs are formed, pitched and fastened, with corners and end caps sealed.

  4. 4

    Water test and final walk

We start a garden hose at the upper end of each gutter and let you see the flow reach every downspout for yourself. Scrap gets loaded out, a magnet passes over the lawn and driveway, and we walk the property with you before calling the job done.

Gutter Questions We Hear Often

Will installing gutters damage my roof or landscaping?

It should not. We remove old gutters carefully to protect the shingle edge, and we cover beds and protect the lawn before ladders go up. At the end of the day the yard is swept with a magnet and all scrap leaves with us.

Should I choose one-piece gutters or sectional ones?

For most homes, one-piece runs formed to length are the better choice, since fewer joints mean fewer places to leak. Sectional gutters can still work on short runs. We will explain the difference on your house and let you choose.

Are gutter guards worth it?

It depends on what grows near your roof. Homes under large trees often benefit, while open lots may not need them. We would rather tell you honestly than add something that does little for your home.

Is the work covered by a warranty?

Yes. Gutters we install come with a 10-year workmanship warranty. It applies to the installation itself, meaning how the runs were hung, pitched and sealed. If a problem traces back to our work, give us a call and we will come out to look at it.

Do you work outside Union City?

We do. Along with Union City, we install gutters for homeowners in Yukon, Mustang, El Reno, Tuttle and Bethany. You can see the full list on our Service Areas page.
